The Arts

A behind the scenes look at the installation of Marco Breuer's latest exhibition at the deYoung Museum in San Francisco. Breuer was given 48 hours to create the exhibition before the first visitors were scheduled to arrive. With an original score by Patrick Kirst.
Produced for Cambridge, MA Indie band Thousand Days, this video is a tribute to Neda Agha-Soltan who was shot on the streets of Tehran in June of 2009 while marching for democracy. Neda was one of many brave Iranians who have lost their lives while peacefully demonstrating for basic human rights and a voice in how they are governed.
An up close look at Malibu-based photographer Robert Weingarten's body of work, The Portrait Unbound. The piece, produced by One Production Place forThe High Museum of Art in Atlanta explores Weingarten's development of what he terms "the translucent composite." Creating The Portrait Unbound was part of the High Museum's spring 2010 exhibition and is included with the catalog. The music was scored by Patrick Kirst.

 

Documentary

America's Civil Rights Movement found its strength in the people who took to the streets to support it. Voices of Freedom revisits several key events and places shaped by America's great nonviolent revolution. Leaders of the Civil Rights Movement, marchers, activists, Freedom Riders, and photographers tell a powerful story and emphasize the need for today's generation to continue to work for equality for all. This multiple CINE Award-winning piece was produced in association with the High Museum of Art and was shown at The Smithsonian, The Field Museum, The Skirball Cultural Center and The Bronx Museum. The original score is also performed by Dave Weil and was engineered by Dave Watkins, both of Atlanta's Blacktop Rockets.
Excerpt from "At The End of Slavery", produced for International Justice Mission by One Production Place. The thirty minute documentary, narrated by Danny Glover, examines the face of modern slavery around the world and efforts to eradicate it. Ultimately a message of hope it is also a call to action to those concerned about the plight and suffering of others. With an original score by Patrick Kirst.

Part of an on-going series of seasonal promotional videos for AmericasMart in Atlanta.

Nonprofit

Produced for APSE, a non-profit advocacy group that works on behalf of the disabled to secure integrated employment and career opportunities. APSE works to raise awareness within the business community of the benefits to hiring those with disabilities and promotes policies on the state and federal levels towards that goal.

Event Programs

Produced for The Historical Society of the Courts of the State of New York and featured at their annual gala event held at the New York Public Library in April 2010. The purpose of the piece was to highlight the many programs the Society sponsors as well as to look at the influence of the New York legal system on the rest of the United States. Original score by Patrick Kirst.

Corporate Social Responsibility
